Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery
General Information
Department can perform all kinds of plastic and aesthetic operations. Besides, some specific
surgeries like microsurgery, endoscopic surgery and cranio-maxillofacial surgery are also
performed. Elective cases are operated on all work days, but emergency cases are treated any
time.
We are dedicated to helping people with appearance problems. Both surgical and non-
invasive treatments are available for patients with cosmetic as well as functional problems of
the face, body and extremities resulting from birth defects, tumor, traumatic injuries and
simple aging. Treatments include facelifts, eyelid procedures,
rhinoplasty, liposuction, endoscopy, laser therapy, skin peels, skin care, cosmetic
dentistry, facial bone surgery, breast enlargement, breast reduction, breast lifting
and body sculpting. The surgical expertise available within the Department of
Plastic Surgery allows the management of a wide range of problems from the
simple to the very complex. Children and adults with either reconstructive or
cosmetic needs will find expert advice and treatment here.
The Department provides care to patients with jaw anomalies, vascular
malformations, nasal deformities, periorbital problems and posttraumatic
deformities.

The department was founded by Assoc. Prof. Alpagan Mustafa YILDIRIM in 1995
(23.11.1995).
