7.4. MULTIMEDIA COLLECTION:
We have a vision of digital library and e-library facility in addition to multimedia CD centre. At present,
we are holding:

7.5. READING ROOM:
The reading room is located on the 1st floor of library. This section kept opened between 8.00am to 9.00am
on all working days.
In request of the students, the reading room is also kept opened from 8.00am to 9.00pm, during
examination sessions.
7.6. REFERENCE BOOKS:
The Reference section is equipped with 1954 standard books, along with Dictionaries, Handbooks and
other costly books and textbooks of each subject
7.7. LIBRARY MEMBERS:
The Library welcomes the staff members of the other colleges and staff of industries to become members of
the library and avail the services.

7.8. PHOTOCOPY SECTION:
The staff members & students can photocopy the reading materials required right at the library.
7.9. Library Activities
Daily issuing and receiving of the books through library tickets
Proper display of newspaper, Magazine, Periodicals, Newsletters, Career options, Vacancies and
information about placement regularly.
Maintence of books in good and readable conditions.
Proper indexing of books according to the systems adopted by the library.
Systematic arrangement of the books and other reading material used by the readers at end of the
day.
Helping students to get the desired reading material.
Unusable and old newspaper and magazine sold periodically.
Measures being taken to prevent books, periodicals reading materials from being damaged by moth
regular dusting and use of pesticides.
Year wise arrangement and maintence of old magazine and periodicals. and binding the Journals
Reprographic service provided
Library orientation program for New students
Reading room is also kept opened from 8.00am to 9.00pm, during examination sessions on holiday.
