TRANSFORMER DATA FORM

Transformer records are broken down into three tables. The first table contains general information. The second table contains load tap information. The third table contains no load tap information.

A nameplate drawing can be substituted for the majority of tap data requested within this data sheet.

Some General data items such as XFName, ERCOT Station Name, Resistance, Reactance, Susceptance, etc will be required in addition to a nameplate drawing

All transformers are modeled as two-winding transformers with high and low side taps, one of which may have tap changing under load.

Three-winding transformers must be described as 'three two-winding' transformers with a common point. The common point is modeled as a fictitious busbar with a nominal voltage of 1 kV.

General procedure for calculating the impedances used for the 'three two-winding' transformers is a delta-to-star transformation. The exact method depends on the form of the data for the three-winding transformer.
