The 2008 Cherwell Council election took place on 1 May Conservative Alastair Milne 884 75.9 +11.1
2008 to elect members of Cherwell District Council in Home
Oxfordshire, England. One third of the council was up
Labour Mary Ross 280 24.1 +2.5
for election and the Conservative party stayed in overall
control of the council.[1] Majority 604 51.8 +8.6
The results saw the Conservatives win all of the seats Turnout 1,164 28.0
