necessarily needed when you opt to use a cartridge seal. They do not require regular check-ups
because they are presumed to be less error prone than their counterparts. Adjustments when
using cartridge seals are also very easy to do. They do not require you to disassemble the whole
assembly to do it.
Proper Maintenance of Mechanical Seals
To check for leaks in seal installations, look out for drops during use. Make sure the arrangement does
not exceed three drops every 15 minutes. If it does, make the necessary adjustments in the machine or
the seal itself.
