Patriot League Partners With SIRIUS Satellite Radio
Men’s basketball game of the week and conference tournament to air nationwide on SIRIUS
Center Valley, Pa. – The Patriot League has partnered with SIRIUS Satellite Radio to broadcast select men’s basketball
games for the 2006-07 season, it was announced Friday. Ten Patriot League men’s regular-season basketball “Games of the
Week” will be broadcast live to SIRIUS’ nationwide audience, beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 9 with American at Bucknell on
SIRIUS channel 107. In addition to regular-season coverage, all seven games of the 2007 Patriot League Men’s Basketball
Tournament will be aired. Additional games may be added to the Patriot League’s package with SIRIUS over the course of

Veteran broadcaster Frank Santore will handle the play-by-play duties for the Patriot League package. Santore has an
extensive announcing resume in college basketball, including serving as the play-by-play voice for Davidson and Gardner-
Webb, as well as the 2006 Big South and Southland Conference Championships. In addition, he is the play-by-play voice for
five sports at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. Santore was also the play-by-play announcer for the NCAA
Football Championship Subdivision Game of the Week this past season on Sirius Satellite Radio. Broadcaster Marketing
Services (BMS) will produce the games.
