You will be researching key battles of the American Civil War in order to produce Civil War trading cards
(similar to baseball cards). On the front of each card will be a picture and on the back the significant
information about the event. Below are some guidelines to follow:
Cards must be the same size, no larger than a 4x6 card
The front of the card will have a picture and title (name of battle)
Key facts will be on the back
o Include the following:
o Date, location, Confederate and Union commanders, Confederate forces engaged, Union
forces engaged, Winner, casualties for both sides, brief description of the battle
o Information must be be typed
Make cards as attractive as possible
Must make a card for yourself (your picture on the front with information about yourself on the
back)
The cards must be in chronological order with your card at the front when you turn in the project
