Laptop or Netbook Agreement

Parent Information: By reading and signing below, you are giving your permission for
your child to bring a Laptop or Netbook computer to school.
Agreement
1. The device is only to be used in the Media Center or in the classroom if specifically
directed by the teacher for that period only. Otherwise it is put away bell (7:30) to
bell (1:55).
2. The device is only to be used for academic purposes or assignments. There can be
no recording of teachers or lessons without administrative approval.
3. The school or law enforcement will accept no responsibility for lost or stolen
devices. The student is to keep the device securely in a book bag and will lock it in
a locker during P.E. classes.
4. The device must be registered by the school’s Media Technology Department and
must clearly display the School Registration Sticker.
5. The school has the right to confiscate any device not being used properly and/or not
being registered and/or not displaying a sticker. Only parents will be allowed to
pick up confiscated devices.
