Once you have calculated your monthly income/expenses you get a good picture of how you are travelling on a monthly basis! . You then need to calculate how much of your income on a fortnightly basis needs to be set aside for expenses . These funds should be placed each fortnight into a working account and only used for these expenses . Some months will have higher expenses and you may want to try to rearrange the payment of them for example paying the rego for 6 months, then reverting back to annual or maybe pay some expenses monthly. . If your expenses are too high for your income you need to cut back or increase income or else you will just increase your level of debt. . If you have surplus income it is important to put these funds aside into a separate account or use them to reduce debt on your credit cards, personal loans or mortgage.
