							                  Registration Form – MBBS 2007 (for NRI/PIO/Management)

The following eligibility norms are brought to the notice of parents of prospective students of 2007 batch MBBS
under Management/ NRI/ PIO quota for their information and acceptance.


    1. Every student who aspires for a seat in Amrita School of Medicine for MBBS should obtain not less than
          80% aggregate marks in Biology/ Physics/Chemistry in his/her +2 (State Board / CBSE / ISCE) exam.

    2. An NRI/PIO candidate who has studied in an institution not under CBSE/ ICSE / State Board of India should
          have passed Biology/Physics/Chemistry in 11th/ 12th year preferably with „A‟ grade. Such candidate should
          also get an eligibility certificate for pursuing the MBBS course, from the Association of Indian Universities,
          AIU House,16, Comd. Indrajit Gupta Marg (Kotla Marg),New Delhi - 110002 , INDIA, e mail : :

    3. Every student who opts for a seat under open merit / management quota including NRI/PIO is required to
          appear for the entrance test being conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, the date of which will be
          announced later.

    4. A student should secure at least 50% marks in the entrance test ( 40% for SC/ST students) to become
          eligible for admission.
