As per our record, you have to pay relevant registration fee for the concerned programme, as per details below:
FOR GENERAL/OBC STUDENTS (WITH mess related fee / deposit) , for (a) Regular and QIP students, and (b) (a) Rs. 16,060/- (For Hosteller),
Self-financed OR Sponsored students (part time / full time) who are serving as teachers (b) Rs. 8,600/- (For Non-hosteller)
FOR GENERAL/OBC STUDENTS (WITH mess related fee / deposit) – For Self-financed OR Sponsored students Rs. 36,060/- (For Hosteller),
(part time / full time) who are NOT serving as teachers Rs.28,600/- (For Non-hosteller)
FOR SC/ST STUDENTS (WITH mess related fee / deposit), for (a) Regular and QIP students, and (b) Self- (a) Rs. 11,060/- (For Hosteller),
financed OR Sponsored students (part time / full time) who are serving as teachers (b) Rs. 3,600/- (For Non-hosteller)
1. Your selection is PROVISIONAL, subject to production of all required original documents# at the time of registration.
2. Selected candidates who appear in their qualifying degree examinations after 19-07-2011, shall automatically be disqualified
for admission.
3. Selected candidates whose qualifying degree results are awaited, shall have to produce their original Pass Certificates and
Mark Sheets, latest by 02-09-2011, failure to which their admissions shall be cancelled.
4. You will have to REPORT TO THE ACADEMIC SECTION, OF IIT GUWAHATI, for REGISTRATION, on or before 02-08-2011, with
FULL FEES [as indicated above] either in CASH or Demand Draft drawn in favour of INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
GUWAHATI, payable at Guwahati; failure to which their seats will be cancelled.
# Inter alia, shall also include birth certificate, educational certificates and mark sheets starting from HSLC (10th standard) onwards,
caste/category certificate (for OBC(Non-creamy)/SC/ST/PD), release letter (in case of employed candidates only), etc. for verification at
the time of registration. Admission of `PD’ category candidates shall be subject to medical clearance by a duly constituted
Medical Board.
For accommodation in hostel, please bring your own bedding. Hostel allotment will be displayed in our website at www.iitg.ac.in , as well
as in our Notice Boards. Please report directly in the hostel on arrival in the campus. Female students should report at Hostel Subansiri.
Further notifications on the registration programme, class time-table, etc. will be available in the notice boards at hostels, departments and
the Academic Complex of the Institute.
