Global Financial Data, Inc. is a small, fast-growing IT research company that compiles historical
financial data into databases. We require an experienced professional with vision to help identify,
execute, and implement the necessary strategies that will assist in growing our business.
GFD seeks a detail oriented, well versed person to join our team and who will serve as an
understudy to our Chief Economist. We are seeking a person who can learn our historical
databases, our methodologies, calculations, and formulae to assist our team. There is incredible
growth opportunity for the right candidate.
You will write white papers which will be published on our website; participate in conference calls
and WebEx demonstrations with our sales associates in the capacity of answering data questions
and offering professional financial and economic assistance. You will also need to respond to
technical and data related client inquiries. Some travel opportunities exist to participate in
conferences, such as the CFA or MTA.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
A Degree in Economics or Finance
Prefer a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
3 to 4 years of professional economic analysis experience
Experience with sales and revenue generation models
Excellent communication skills.
