                     Unit 5: 3-D and 2-D Shapes

Objectives: By the end of this unit, the students will be able to:
Secure Goal:
    Identify 2-dimensional shapes
Developing Goals:
    Identify 3-dimensional shapes, such as rectangular prisms, cylinders,
      pyramids, cones, and spheres
    Identify symmetrical figures
    Find common attributes of shapes
    Identify parallel and nonparallel line segments
    Draw line segments



Time Frame: 11 school days

Lesson 4.1 Exploring Rules, Directions, and Time
Obj. to identify rules and used to classify shapes; to give and follow directions;
and to tell time using digital and analog notation.
