MINNEAPOLIS – April X, 201X – The CFA Society of Minnesota’s 2011 Professional & Career Development Conference will provide an
invaluable opportunity to network with top financial and investment management talent, including CFA Charterholders, CFA
Program candidates and CIPM certificants in the greater Twin Cities metropolitan area. The full-day conference will feature experts
from around the county, exhibitors, break-out sessions and networking opportunities allowing attendees to gain insight and
practical ideas no matter where you are on your career path.
Keynote speakers include:
Theresa Rose, motivational speaker, award-winning author and workshop facilitator, has a mission to educate, entertain and
inspire people to become aware of their unlimited power. Rose’s first book, Opening the Kimono: A Woman’s Intimate Journey
Through Life’s Biggest Challenges, won the Royal Palm Literary Award and the Living Now Book Award.
A member of the National Speakers Association and a graduate of Eckerd College, she has been
interviewed by and published in many of the nation’s leading business and health-related publications.
Her keynote address: “Managing Your Time Without Losing Your Mind” and breakout session: “Need to
find a job? Gotta find your Mojo first” will engage participants and offer real world solutions that can
be put into practice immediately.
Cathy Paper, owner/founder of RockPaperStar, a St. Paul-based consulting firm, brings more than 17 years of leadership
development and marketing experience along with nearly 10,000 coaching hours to our event. Her lunch keynote address,
“Networking: On and Off the Computer Screen” will guide participants to creating better relationships to makes you more
successful in your job search, your career and your life. Learn several ways to heighten your reputation
without becoming a slick image of your authentic self.
