Sindhu Ghat. Overnight at Hotel
DAY 07: EXCURSION TO KHARDUNGLA TOP - 18,390 FT.--After breakfast we drive
to Khardung-La, the highest Motorable road in the world at 18,390 ft. is around 39 Kms
away from Leh. The views from the top of the pass are amazing. Return to the hotel for

the government decided toopen it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is
under army surveillance. After spending some time at Pangong
we drive back to Leh. Overnight in hotel.
DAY 09: DEPARTURE LEH--Early morning transfer to Domestic Airport of Leh to catch
the flight for your onward Destination

DAY 07: LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY (126 KMS / APRX. 06 HRS)--After an early
breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY leads through KHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest
Motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is
popularly known as valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the
Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. First visit SUMUR, another pretty
village on the other side of the river'; SAMSTANLING GOMPA here was founded by Lama
Tsultims Nima and Monastic community was introduced as Rezong Gonpa.Overnight at
deluxe camp / hotel in Nubra.
DAY 08: NUBRA VALLEY . LEH--After your breakfast at the camp, visit the SAND
DUNES to enjoy a camel safari (Optional). Later we drive to Leh over Khardung La.
Afternoon rest and relax or take a walk to the local market. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 07: LEH TO ULEYTOKPO--Post Breakfast we drive to visit Phyang Gompa,
located 6 kms away from Leh. Further we drive to Likir, Likir gompa situated atop a windy
cliff top overlooking the beautiful village of Likir. Basgo is certainly the most impressive
of Ladakhi citadels despite its ruined state. Then we drive and cross the River Indus and
reach Alchi, Ladakh's most loved monastery. After visiting above monasteries we drive
to Uleytokpo to checkin at our Campsite for overnight stay.
DAY 08: ULEYTOKPO – LEH--Post breakfast start early morning we drive further to
visit Lamayuru, Belongs to Dripung Kagyu (Red Hat) like Phyang. After visiting Lamayuru
we drive back to Leh enroute visiting Rizong Gompa, known as the paradise for
Meditation. After Ridzong visit we drive back to Leh. Overnight at hotel

Day 01: Arrive Leh--On your arrival at Leh airport our representative will meet & greet

Day 02: Indus Valley Sightseeing--Breakfast at the hotel. This day we take you for full
day excursion of Thiksey Monastery. It is better to visit early morning to see sunrise and

While returning to Leh visit Shey Palace and Sindu Ghat.Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: AM Khardungla pass & PM Leh City tour---After breakfast drive to Khardung

lunch. After lunch we take you for a tour of Leh city visiting Sangkar, Shanti Stupa, Leh

DAY 04: Full day tour of PANGONG LAKE--After an early breakfast we leave for
Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000

widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India
and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the

Day 05: Leh / Sarchu---After breakfast leave for Sarchu (10 hours). This is a very scenic
drive. Drive to Sarchu is 10 hours and today we cross Tanglangla Pass (at 17582 feet).
Packed lunch is provided. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the deluxe
camp.
Day 06: Sarchu / Manali--After early breakfast check out and drive to Manali (8 hours
drive). The drive to Manali is 220 Kms and we cross Barachala Pass (at 15846 feet) and
Rohtang Pass (at 13050 feet). On arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Manali Local sight Seeing--After breakfast half day tour of Manali including
Hadimba Temple, Vashisht hot water spring. Ovrnight at the hotel.
Day 08: Leave Manali by overnight bus to Delhi --After breakfast time free till
departure. Check out time at 12:00. In evening you will be transfer to bus stand.

Day 06: Kargil . Srinagar (Via Sonmarg).--Morning after breakfast drive to Srinagar via
Sonmarg. Sonmarg - which is one of the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. You may
take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the
year.On arrival drop at Houseboat. Welcome drink on arrival. Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight in the houseboat.
Day 07: Srinagar City Tour--After breakfast visit the Mughal Gardens, Chashmi-e Shahi
(The Royal Spring), Nishat (The Garden of pleasure) & Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love). In
the afternoon enjoy a Shikara ride on the Dal Lake. Overnight in thehouseboat/hotel.
Day 08: Srinagar / Gulmarg / Srinagar (112 Kms).-After breakfast full day excursion
of Gulmarg - the most beautiful summer resort in the valley. It is popular for its highest
golf course and skiing in winters. You can enjoy a pony ride and also enjoy a Gondola
ride (cable car) to Kangdogri / Alpatar (at your own cost). Return to the houseboat/hotel
by evening for overnight stay.
Day 09: Departure to Airport.--After breakfast time free till departure. Transfer by car to
Srinagar airport for departure to next destination

How to reach: (By Road / Air)
Ladakh is approx 1050 Kms from Delhi . Manali . Leh. While as Manali to Leh is approx 470 Km.
and can be
reached by overnight VOLVO from Delhi to Manali and further Manali to Leh in two days as well as three
days.
Srinagar to Leh is Approx 450 Kms from Srinagar to Leh via Kargil. Can be completed in two days
Regular flight from Delhi to Leh and return ( One hour only ). Though you may have connections
from Jammu,
Chandigarh and Srinagar to Leh (couple of days in a week and subject to change).
Restrictions:
In certain area you need to have a Inner Line Travel permit to visit Like Nubra Valley / Pangong Lake
/ Tso Moriri
Lake and others which can be arranged in Leh itself. All clients are requested to have their Photo ID proof
Khardungla pass remain close for the maintenance purposes on every Monday, Therefore your travel
to Khardungla
Pass or Nubra valley need to be avoided on Monday.
Tips / Insurance:
Clients are advised to take the pre insurance against their travel for any unforeseen circumstances
and flight
cancellation. This is a remote area and evacuating the people from Ladakh to main land may take two to
three
days. You need to be prepared for flight cancellation in monsoon season but not very often
Your Driver / Hotel personal / Local Guides and Trekking tem expect a tip at the end of services and
depends on
your overall programme and duration. You may get the details from your representative and tour escort
upon arrival
in Ladakh.
High Altitude Sickness
Leh is situated at 3500 meter above sea level and if flying to Leh directly means you may have some high
altitude
sickness after three to four hours of landing. It may vary person to person. Omitting/ Head ace / Breathing
problems
/ Read eye/ Fever / Irritations etc are some of the symptoms which one may feel. It may take 12 hours to
24 hours
to acclimatize with the high altitude . This is advisable to everyone to have a complete rest the day you
arrive in Leh
and avoid sleeping in the day time. Intake the maximum water / Tea ( Black tea is recommended) / Coffee
/ Soup
etc.. which will help. Avoid not to eat the food. In the evening you may have a short walk to the market
and
advisable areas. Still if feeling bad than visit the nearest state Govt. Hospital for the medical treatments.
