Friday 24th June 2011
So much work has been put into organising the Summer Fair by the
Friends of Southborough and their helpers, the weather also looks good so
please do come along and support this event.
SUMMER FAIR
Don't forget it's the Summer Fair tomorrow. We kick off at midday and have funfair
rides, bouncy castle and games, including Beat The Goalie, The Coconut Shy, Hook-A-Duck
and Spin The Teacher (!). There'll also be an arts and crafts stall where you can decorate
your own yo-yo or biff-bat, the jamjar stall - everyone a winner, the bottle tombola (over
18s only for the alcoholic bottles please! ;-). As well as all that we have a uniform stall,
books & games, the Galaxy club will be there, lots of stalls with jewellery, gifts and
clothes for sale. There'll be ice-creams, candy floss, home-made cakes, balloon modelling,
princess partying and the chance to Test Your Strength. All that plus a DJ and live singer
and performances. That isn't even the end of the list, so PLEASE, support your school and
have a great day at this year's summer fair. The weather's even turned in our favour - the
latest forecast is "clouds breaking up and turning warmer, 23 degrees in the south east."
Bring it on and turn out in your droves for some summer fun!!!
REMINDER - CLASS PHOTOS (and YEAR 6 LEAVERS PACK)
