After the first couple of months they do a play about cartoon characters. Dorothy
does not like a boy named Dwayne because he teases her a lot. Dwayne wants
to try out for the part of Tarzan. Dorothy wants to get revenge so she tries out
for the part of Tarzan and gets the part!!! But, when she gets on stage to do her
Tarzan yell, it turns out to be a disaster!
Why I wanted to read this book: I wanted to read this book because it looked
very funny.
What was good and not so good about this book? I thought what a good about
the book is that the author described thing so well. I don’t think there was
anything bad about the book.
Who else do you think would enjoy this book? My little sister would enjoy this
book because it sounds like something she would do.

Summary: This book is hilarious! The Giggles help kids—sort of. Any time an
adult is mean to the kid(s) the Gigglers take over. They take fresh dog poo and
make sure the adult that was mean steps in it. In this book, Mr. Mack was mean
to his 2 sons. The only way to stop, or not step in the poo is to be nice to your
child again. Will Mr. Mack have a poo disaster?
Why I wanted to read this book: My friends said this was a great book and they
were very right.
What was good and not so good about this book? I like the whole book but
mostly the idea.
Who else do you think would enjoy this book? All the kids in the world will enjoy
this book.

Author: Barbara Park
Summary: Earl is being beat up by a bully. He has to pay one dollar a week to
the bully to stop him from beating him up!!! He and his friends come up with a
plan to make the bully (Eddie) be nice to them. The plan works even though it
was not really the bully.
Why I wanted to read this book: I read the first few pages of the first book in
the series of two and thought it was so good! Also, the cover looked cool and
funny to me, so it caught my eye.
What was good and not so good about the book: I thought the trick that the
three friends played on the bully was funny (good). I did not like the part about
the bully being mean to the three friends.
Who else do you think would enjoy the book? Third and fourth graders who
enjoy reading humor and adventure books will enjoy this book.

Summary: This book is about a mother, her son Harvey, his friend Seal, and the
principal. Harvey’s Mom falls in love with Harvey’s principal and the same with
his mother. Seal and Harvey try to make them go on dates and make out. But
soon, Harvey tries to break them up.
Why I wanted to read this book: The title of this book grabbed me and I wanted
to know why she was ruining his life. It also looked funny.
What was good and not so good about the book: The good part is that is very,
very funny and the titles matched the chapters well. I don’t think there was a
bad part.
Who else do you think would enjoy the book? I think boys and girls ages 7-12
will enjoy this book.

Why I wanted to read this book: It looked really funny and I heard good things

What was good and not so good about the book: At the beginning it was really
dry.

and likes to read stories about school.

principal approves and Ed convinces Saltz and Annabelle to be Romeo and Juliet
so that they will have to fall in love and kiss twice.
Why I wanted to read this book: The cover of this book looked good.
What was good and not so good about the book: I liked every part of this book.
Who else do you think would enjoy the book? People who like humorous books
like me will enjoy this book.

was that Ms. Snickle was really nice.

didn’t move too. What was bad was that Ole Golly doesn’t come back.
Who else do you think would enjoy this book? Kid’s in the 4th and 5th grade
would like this book.
