Personal Review: Promises - Promises Linger by Sarah McCarty
This book was HOT. It was one of those that you just can't put down. The
storyline is very interesting and believable, the characters real and well
developed, the love scenes are scorching, and the dialogue/banter
between the two main characters - Asa and Elizabeth - is so hilarious at
times that I was laughing out loud! Asa is the perfect masculine hero: with
a sharp intelligence and wit tempered by a sense of humor and easy -going
manner, and a labido that knows no bounds. And he is just the one to
tame Elizabeth's spirefire personality. This book is by far my favorite in the
Promises series.
