FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS (FSA)

All employees may set aside their pre-tax dollars within established limits for eligible dependent/

health/dental care expenses. Enroll upon hire, or July 1 annually.





I.R.S SECTION 125

Allows employees to have their CRC Group Health and Dental insurance premium payments de-

ducted from their paychecks before income tax is calculated. (Your actual savings will depend upon

your withholding instructions.)



LIFE INSURANCE

Full-time employees (actively working 35+ regularly scheduled weekly hours) are eligible after 6

months of service. The benefit value is the annual salary rounded to the next highest $1,000 with a

maximum of $125,000. (CRC pays 100% of premium).



LONG TERM DISABILITY

Full-time employees (actively working 35+ regularly scheduled weekly hours) are eligible after 6

months of service. The benefit commences after 90 days of disability, and pays 2/3 of the monthly

salary with a monthly maximum of $5,000. (CRC pays 100% of premium). Once on disability, em-

ployees are no longer considered “active” limiting eligibility for certain benefits. Please see Human

Resources for further details.



WORKER’S COMPENSATION

All employees are covered upon hire. (CRC pays 100% of premium).



CREDIT UNION

A variety of services (accounts, loans, etc.) available to all employees upon hire.



DIRECT DEPOSIT

A variety of services (accounts, loans, etc.) available to all employees upon hire.





401K PLAN

All employees, who have completed 6 months of active service and are at least 21 years old, are eli-

gible to contribute up to 100% of their gross wages (up to the Federal annual pre-tax maximum).

CRC will match $0.30 for every $1.00 of employee contribution (up to 5% of their gross wages) af-

ter 1 year of active service.

MOVIE TICKETS

Discount movie tickets are available for purchase at Human Resources.



HOLIDAYS

CRC annually observes 11 Commonwealth of Massachusetts legal holidays.



SICK DAYS

Full-time employees (35+ regularly scheduled weekly hours) in active/paid status accrue 6 paid

days per year, earned at 4 hours per month. A maximum of 400 hours of sick time may be accumu-

lated. Unused sick time is not paid out upon termination

of employment.



VACATION

Accrual

Full-time employees (35+ regularly scheduled weekly hours) accrue vacation time for each month of

service in which they are actively employed and in a paid status. Employees are eligible, with ap-

proval, to use accrued time after 3 months of service. On April 1 employees may “carry over” a limit

of 120 hours into the next plan year.

BEREAVEMENT LEAVE

Up to 4 days, with authorization, for the death of your spouse, child, grandchild, parent, sibling,

grandparent, parent of spouse, or member of your immediate household



FAMILY/MEDICAL LEAVE

Employees who have completed one year of service with CRC, and who have worked a

minimum of 1,250 hours during the 12 months preceding the leave, are eligible for up to 12 weeks

of leave per benefit year (all accrued sick/vacation time must be exhausted,then any remaining

leave is unpaid) with satisfactory documentation of the following:





• Birth, or adoption, of a child.

• Placement of a child with the employee for foster care.

• Need to care for a spouse, child, or parent with a serious health condition.

• Employee’s own serious health condition.

CRC will continue group health/dental coverage at the customary expense. Benefit time will not con-

tinue to accrue during any unpaid leave. Previous, or equivalent, position will be restored provided

employee returns to work in the proper timeframe.



JURY DUTY

Leave with pay is given if the employee was hired before receiving jury duty notice.



MATERNITY LEAVE

Female employees employed for six months, or more, are eligible for maternity/adoption leave in

accordance with State and Federal guidelines.



MILITARY LEAVE

Is granted to an employee, without pay, who enters active duty. No loss in employment status, or

tenure, is suffered upon employee’s return.



TUITION ASSISTANCE

After 6 months of service, CRC may reimburse full-time employees (35+ regularly scheduled weekly

hours) for up to $1,500.00 of tuition per benefit year (7/1-6/30) for successful completion of pre-

approved courses. Department Head must approve all requests in advance of start date. Decision

will be contingent upon relevance of the course to the individual’s employment and budget con-

straints. (There may also be Tuition Remission from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts).
