DRESS REHEARSAL (Saturday)
Please be sure to arrive at the theatre in plenty of time to get into full costume dress for your listed stage
rehearsal. Once you are in costume, make your way into the audience and be seated with your class until
you are called on stage by your instructor. There will be a quick meeting in the audience before starting each
rehearsal session.
What to Bring:
All costume pieces/parts
All props: hats, cane, etc
Lineup sheet for parents helping to line up kids.
All shoes (painted proper color), shoe ribbons, tights and socks.
Safety pins, band-aids, bobby pins, etc
Snacks/drinks (in dressing rooms ONLY! No food allowed in audience)
Video camera...you may video on Saturday only. No flash pictures or videos on Sunday.
If you have more than one child in the show, consider bringing “help”: babysitter, aunt, etc.
What Else You Should Know:
NO MEN allowed in changing rooms
Take a Tunnel Tour. This is how you will get from backstage to the audience the day of the show.
NEVER SAY: Nervous, Scared, any negatives...THINK: Fun, Smile, Good Job!!
Every effort is made to get you out of rehearsal as soon as possible but remember this is for the
STUDENTS...not us. Typically we run true to schedule, however, sometimes technical difficulties
arise out of our control which may delay our schedule. We appreciate your patience!
Finale Rehearsal:
We urge ALL students to participate in the Finale at the end of the show!
We will rehearse the Finale at Dress Rehearsal while you are there.
Combination classes will line up on Stage Right.
Classes designated for teens & adults will line up on Stage Left.
Before You Come:
All account balances should have been settled on June 1.
If you have not settled your account, please do so by the end of dress rehearsal week at the studio.
We appreciate all accounts being settled prior to stage rehearsal.
Post-dated checks will be accepted if needed.
Your cooperation is very much appreciated. Thank you.

RECITAL (Sunday)
The Details:
The show begins at 1:00 p.m.
Arrive in plenty of time to get situated in your dressing room.
All students in first half of show should be in the Gaillard, dressed and waiting in your assigned
dressing rooms by 12:15 pm, waiting to be called by the Stage Manager.
Dance numbers will be called to go backstage from your dressing room 3 numbers ahead of your
number. Students MUST be IN your dressing room! Stage Managers cannot come looking for you
and numbers are not “held” for missing students.
Students may not sit in audience in costumes, which is very unprofessional. Save costumes for the
STAGE! You must use the tunnel to get to the audience from your dressing room on Sunday.
Students with numbers close together should stay backstage until all numbers are finished.
You won’t miss a beat… there will be a video monitor for you to watch the show from the dressing
rooms!
Students should head back to their dressing rooms and be in costumes 5 numbers before the end
of the show to participate in the Finale. All students are encouraged to participate in the FINALE. It
is the end of the show where we all take a bow. This will be reviewed at Dress Rehearsal on
Saturday.
SPECIAL NOTE for Moms of our 3-4-5 year olds…
Sometimes it is better for someone other than mom to be backstage with our youngest dancers, perhaps a
favorite babysitter that they mind really well. Once lined up, let the teacher take over and we’ll have the best
opportunity to get our nervous little ones on stage.
