THE EXIES ARE BRINGING “THE TRUTH” TO A TOWN NEAR YOU

LA-based rockers, The Exies, hit the road in support of their new album, A MODERN
WAY OF LIVING WITH THE TRUTH
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 28, 2007) – The Exies, the L.A. based band formed by
vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Scott Stevens and bassist Freddy Herrera, are going on tour
in support of their album A Modern Way of Living With the Truth. The album will be
released on indie label Eleven Seven Music on May 8.
The group released two previous albums on Virgin Records, 2003’s Inertia and 2004’s
Head for the Door, which produced the Top 10 Active Rock/Modern Rock hit, “Ugly,”
used by World Wrestling Entertainment as the theme to their Survivor Series pay-per-
view event, as well as the Top 15 Modern Rock hit, “My Goddess.”
After two years of touring with bands like Breaking Benjamin, 30 Seconds To Mars, The
Used, Sparta and Evanescence, they appeared on Mötley Crüe’s Carnival of Sins tour by
special request of longtime fan Nikki Sixx, who helped make the introduction to Eleven
Seven Music label.
Said Bob Edwards, Operations Manager, KQRC-KRBZ-KYYS, Kansas City, “It’s great
to have The Exies back with a fresh new track! “Different Than You” should build nicely
on the success the band experienced with Head For The Door. KQRC saw phones in the
first week!”
Artists don’t normally break on third albums anymore (ala Bruce Springsteen’s Born To
Run), but Eleven Seven Music has created a model to make it happen. The indie label
did it with Buckcherry’s gold certified album “15” and is doing it now via The Exies
third album “A Modern Way Of Living With the Truth” which hits stores on 4/10. The
band’s 1st single, “Different Than You” is one of the most added songs at rock radio with
already over 300 spins to date plus heavy play on AOL Radio. Following Buckcherry &
The Exies, Eleven Seven Music will be releasing Drowning Pool’s third album “Full
Circle.” As Eleven Seven Music endeavors to make "3's the charm", the label’s goal is
always to keep artist development the #1 priority in the business.
