The Mental Capacity Act

A one-day conference looking at the implications in practice of
the implementation of the Mental Capacity Act. This
conference will be of interest to all those working with
vulnerable adults.
The conference will include keynote presentations from Toby
Williamson, Stakeholder and Communications Manager at
the Department for Constitutional Affairs and Hazel Morgan,
Co-Director of the Foundation for People with Learning
Disabilities.
Topics covered will include:
• An overview of the Act
• The carers' perspective
• How the Act will impact on people with learning
disabilities and other vulnerable adults.
