which will enable them find employment or failing that to be able to use these skills to enable
them to make a living. While the subjects offered at the lower levels are very broad, as they go up
the education ladder, these subjects will now begin to narrow down into specific specialized areas
eventually leading them to the work place, university or Technical colleges
The subject has developed through the years and is currently offered in the following areas and
levels in schools:
FJC LEVEL [F3&F4]
i. W/WORK & TD
1. ii. M/WORK & TD
iii. GRAPICS & TD
FSLC LEVEL [F5&F6]

institutions such as the Fiji College of Advanced Education [FCAE], Fiji Institute of Technology
[FIT], the University of the South Pacific [USP] and the Training and Productivity Authority of
Fiji [TPAF].
The knowledge, skills and attitude gained from the prescribed prescriptions would also be
rewarding and meaningful to students who cannot proceed to higher education but opt to join the
world of work or start their own business.
There are 154 schools offering the program with 345 teaching staff. The teaching staff comprises
