Need of a Workshop
Kendriya Vidyalaya, No-1, A.F.S. Tambaram.
Inaugural address by the Head Mistress, Smt.T. Rajathi.
Be a winner
When confidence is in your eyes and
Hope is your wings, then the sky is yours.
Be intelligent
When the best and the brightest come together ,
The possibilities are endless.
It is my proud privilege to stand before you to welcome the all the
resourceful, experienced, eminent, highly talented and respected teachers for
One Day Workshop for PRTs today on behalf of our KV family.
Our profound thanks gratitude to our Assistant Commissioner,
Education Officers and our beloved Principal for arranging this One Day
Workshop, so that we can share and go back updated information and
refreshed memories.
It was rightly said by Gail Godwin, “Good Teaching is one fourth
preparation and three fourth pure theatre.”
Teaching should be full of amazing activities, innovative ideas and
methodologies with special activities and should not be stuffed with only
facts. Joyful and playful activities, different methodologies i.e., motivational,
learning , reinforcement and evaluation activities with innovative ideas, help
to hold the attention of even the slow blossoms for a longer period.
What effects a tender young heart of a child is the warmth, affection
and appreciation from the teacher.
A good teacher’s qualities are reflected in his/her a student’s
cheerfulness of the teachers makes the classroom lively. A skillful teacher
applies different methods to ensure that some worthwhile learning is taking
place all the time.
Without teacher’s appreciation there can’t be any student’s progress. As
“CARL JUNG” has said one looks back with appreciation to the brilliant
teachers, but with gratitude to these who touched our human feelings .The
curriculum is a necessary raw material, but warmth is the Vital element for the
growing plant and for the Soul of the child.”
KV Sangathan aims to bring together people with common goal of
enhancing development activities. Its aim to create a sense of national
friendship and understanding where it can have a training programmer to share
with others.
To honestly share and exchange important views between all five KVs
in activities, projects, worksheets, CAL/TAL lessons and others.
To forge joint ventures in all field.
Maths is the queen of all the subjects.
Teacher must be innovative, resourceful, efficient and active to provide
new ways for effective learning. Prepare the Bright children as kings and slow
learners as the ministers of the subject through your ideas which would lay
foundation for better tomorrow.
Special planning must be done for slow and bright students also.
Every child is a pearl hidden inside a shell. Let’s discover their
unlimited and innate talents through our effective teaching learning activities.
