Barking Industrial Park Parking Policy and Procedure
GENERAL
Any vehicle/s found parked on the estate that are not in a rental bay with a
permit clearly displayed between 22h00 and 05h00 will be clamped and/or
removed.
Any vehicles on the Estate which are parked on any double yellow line or on
any yellow cross hatched area (box junctions) at any time of the day will be
clamped.
Any vehicles on the Estate which are identified to CES by a duly authorised
officer of the Company as abandoned will be clamped as soon as possible and
removed as soon as is reasonably practicable.
Allocated parking bays are rented at £360.00 (exclusive of VAT) for an annual
space and £ 100.00 (exclusive of VAT) for a quarterly space. Any vehicle or
vehicles on the Estate which are parked in allocated parking bays without
clearly and visibly displaying a valid permit will be removed.
An Overflow area consisting of 9 bays are available next to Units 71/72 for
rental at £5.00 (inclusive of VAT) per day.
A Drop-off area consisting of 4 bays is available and clearly marked directly
opposite the Gate House. Broken down/Accident damaged vehicles can be
parked in this area after 19h00 and must be removed by no later than 10h00
the following morning. This area must be used when attending site for
emergencies after 22h00. A visible note displaying which unit the vehicle/s
belongs to must be clearly and visibly displayed.
The Contractor is a member of the British Parking Association and their
employees are licensed by the Security Industry Authority.
Any and all employees of the Contractor and any Sub-contractors contracted
to, or used by the Contractor to assist them on the Estate, shall be properly
licensed in accordance with rules laid down by the Security Industry Authority.
The Contractor will ensure that all necessary signage shall be provided and
displayed prominently on the Estate.
A photograph of each vehicle that is clamped / removed will be taken before
clamping / removal.
The Contractor will ensure that all vehicles removed will be undamaged by the
process and will be stored and/or disposed of in accordance with the British
Parking Association guidance.
Any fees charged for removal and storage or return of any vehicle shall be
charged to the vehicle owner at the normal charges made by the Contractor.
The Contractor will recover any costs of removal of any vehicle which remains
unclaimed from the disposal of said vehicle. No charges will be accepted by the
Company.
If the Company instructs the Contractor to return any vehicle which has been
improperly removed then the Contractor will make no charge for the removal
storage or return of said vehicle.
If the Company instructs the Contractor to return a vehicle which has been
properly removed in accordance with these rules then the Company will pay
the due charges.
The Contractor will deal with any dispute arising out of any removal of any
vehicle from the Estate following their own complaints procedure which will be
advised by the Contractor to any complainant upon request.

WHEN CLAMPING / REMOVAL WILL NOT BE USED
The following vehicles shall not be clamped / removed under any circumstances:
i. Vehicles parked in parking bays between the hours of 05h00 and 22h00.
ii. Liveried vehicles being used for official business (Fire, Police, Ambulance
Water Board, Gas, Electricity, Royal Mail etc.) purposes.
iii. Drivers delivering goods or making deliveries where the driver is present.
iv. Vehicles where the driver is present with the engine running. (for up to 15
minutes only).
CHARGES
The current fees will apply:
i. De-clamping £ 120.00
ii. The retrieval of a removed vehicle £ 365.00
iii. The storage of a vehicle £ 30.00 per day
