Dear Blackhawk Lot Buyers:
As a part of the Restrictions and Covenants for the Blackhawk Subdivision, we have
selected a mailbox and support that we feel is an important and attractive feature of the
development. The copper mailbox can be ordered through McKenzie 300 Corp. from
Still River Designs and the support base through Signs by Design.
The Still River Design mailbox is solid copper plate and costs $139.24 (including
shipping and handling). When you are ready to order a mailbox, please send a check for
$139.24 to McKenzie 300 Corp. along with a description of the design of your choice, the
address to be embossed on both sides for no additional charge and the shipping address.

delivery. Please mail or deliver the payment to McKenzie 300 Corp. 9201 Waterside

There are two companies that you can choose the support structure from. The first
company is Signs by Design and the cost is $235.73. Signs by Design’s phone number is
608-831-2315. The second company is Busch’s Signs. The cost for the support structure
is $295.00 plus tax. They also offer installation for $135.00. Busch’s Signs phone
number is 608-848-1900.
The structure is cedar with a built in space for newspapers, eliminating the unsightly
blue/green tubes that you see in some subdivisions.
If you drive around the neighborhood, you will notice that some of the mailboxes are
shiny and some are tarnished. You can order the mailbox with a clear coat finish on it for
an additional $15.00 that the manufacturer applies. Note: There is no warranty on the
clear coat applied by Still River Designs. Another option is to have a local auto body
shop add the clear coat. This is relatively inexpensive and quite popular. We do not
require this, but do encourage residents to seriously consider the clear coat finish.
This will be the only mailbox and structure allowed. It will provide uniformity
