To Hold Art Auction February 27, 2010
The Perry Township Education Foundation will host “Art For The Heart” on Saturday, February 27, 7:30 p.m., at
Primo Banquet Facility, 2615 National Avenue. “Art For The Heart” is a major fundraising event for the Foundation which award
grants to Perry Township teachers for creative and innovative classroom projects. The event will feature artwork by current and
former Perry Township students and faculty, and select community, national and international artists.

“This is our eighth Art For the Heart and I’m confident it will be the most exciting one yet,” said Gayle Houchin, event Chair.
“It’s always been and entertaining evening. This year’s format will be a bit different. Instead of a sit down dinner, we will be
serving hors d’oeuvres throughout the evening to allow attendees more time to view art and mingle. This year, as always, we’ll
have art from talented Perry Township students and community artists and are particularly excited to have items from Brazil and
other countries. We will also be auctioning professional photography services, jewelry, gift baskets and entertainment packages.”

Since 1995, PTEF has awarded more than $867,000 in grants. It relies on community support. “Art For The Heart” has been an
important fundraising event in the past, and ongoing community participation in this year’s and future events is essential to the
Foundation’s ongoing success.

Tickets for “Art For The Heart” are $30 per person and $55 per couple through January 31, and $40 per person and $75 per couple
from February 1 through February 27. A $500 “Gift from the Heart” sponsorship entitles the donor to eight tickets for the event and
recognition in the program. Advanced sales are encouraged, but tickets will be sold at the door.

For more information or to purchase tickets, call 317-789-2395 or visit the Art For The Heart fan page on Facebook.

As Valentine’s Day approaches and classrooms plan special events, please remember that some
children have food allergies. For some, certain foods act as allergen triggers and can result in symptoms
causing a life threatening emergency. Food allergies in particular become more likely when treats and
non-school provided items are brought into the classroom. Food items should have the ingredients
clearly listed on the side of the package. It is important to keep in mind that parties are
celebrations and all children want to be included in the fun! Please direct any questions to
Candace Zickler RN, MSN Supervisor of Health Services at 789-3789.

The Super Bowl
I think we are going to win the fabulous Super Bowl because we have an awesome, I mean spectacular
quarter back and you should know who he is. His name is PEYTON MANNING!!
This is also a great, or should I say super, I think they put the “S” in Super Bowl. They are the wide receivers. I
hope you know who they are Reggie Wayne, Austin Collie, Dallas Clark and Pier Garson. Wait!! There are
more you can’t forget our defensive end. They are very important! They are Robert Mathis, and Dwight
Freeney. Remember there is a center, do you know who that is? Of course it is Jeff Saturday.
Last but not least, is Joseph Addai. He is an awesome and great running back. We have a great team so that’s
why we should win. Have fun and I hope to see a win.

Why I think the Colts are going to Win,
I think that the Colts are going to win because they went through all the championships, including the
AFC championships. Now they are at the Super Bowl. I know that they are going to win because they practice a
lot. They are great players. They deserve to win because they went through all those championships. Good luck to
all the football players!! I hope that they COLTS win!!

We are the Champions!
Hey, Who do you think is going to win the Super Bowl? I think that the Colts are going to win. Here’s
First they have confidence. That is one thing no team can do without. Second, they have been playing really well
all year. Third, they have some really good players, like Peyton Manning and Joseph Addai. Next, they try hard.
There’s another thing why they have a shot of winning. They also practice hard. I hope they make their mark and

Go Colts!!
The Colts will win the Super Bowl.
I think so because they have made it this far, they can go more. They work as a team. They don’t pick just one
person to do the work for the whole team. They work hard together. The main thing that is important is to play
defense. If we play defense we will most likely win. If they have faith they will win. They will win!

The Super Bowl
Why do I think that the Colts are going to win the Super Bowl? Because they have good players and also
good offense. Some of the good players are Peyton Manning, Joseph Addai, Reggie Wayne and Austin Collie.

The Colts are going to win by trying their hardest. Even if the Colts lose they were one of the best teams
in the world. Because they made it to the Super Bowl. Not a lot of teams get there, that is one reason they are great.
If they win, they will bring home the Super Bowl ring! The Colts beat other teams to get here and I am going to
watch the game, wear the jersey, wave the banner and celebrate the Colts work effort. Plus, I came to Indiana to
see this moment. I hope the Colts beat the New Orleans Saints. GO COLTS!!!

Go Colts! Boo Saints!
Go Colts! Boo Saints! Come on Colts you can do it, put a little umph into it. Umph Colts! Ump Colts!
Oh my gosh, the Super Bowl is coming! Colts vs. Saints. Well, duh the Colts are going to win. I know the Saints
are a little good but I know that we are going to win this year! All of my family gets together to watch it. We are
very awesome and strong players. The Colts are number 1 and the Saints are number 2 and we are going to beat
the whoopsies out of you. That is why the Colts are going to win!!!! Go Colts
                                                        By Sydnie

Colts at Super Bowl,
The Colts are my favorite team ever! I think they should beat those Saints in every game. This Super
Bowl is 100% blue and white. I think the Colts should win this game because they are the star team of all teams.
Also, because they have a lot of good players, like Peyton Manning, Joseph Addai, Reggie Wayne, Robert
Mathis, and Austin Collie. Those are the top five players I know.
The Colts rock at everything! Defense, offense and quarterback and a lot of other positions in the plays. Amazing
as they are, I still think they should win. Every game, they’ve always done their best, even if they win or lose, and
next years season, hopefully Bob Sanders can jump back into the game and make the Colts a complete season. If
the Colts win, it would be a mircle, because then it would be their second time winning the National Super Bowl of
the year. No matter how famous or amazing the Colts are, I still think they are special and going to win the Super

Colts are going to win,
Of course the Colts don’t have the best offense and defense but that’s not going to stop us. We have the
best hands in the NFL. Mostly because we have some of the top receivers. We have Piere Garcon, Dallas Clark,
Reggie Wayne and of course Austin Collie. But we really need to work with Joseph Addai and Donald Brown
with the running game. We can count on Peyton to warm us up and get some points on the board. Our defense has
been good with sacks and stopping the running and the passing game. With Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis
at the defensive end position, Antoine Bethea and Melvin Bullitt at the safety spot, and Gary Brackett in the
middle line backer spot we are sure to get some defensive stops. But there are some other players to watch like
Matt Stover and Pat McAfee. We might start off in a slow start but we have the ability to stop and slow the game
down and get points of our own. Like the AFC Championship we were down big time before the half to the Jets
but came back to win by 13. My guess is the Colts win 31-28, but we will have to put up with the Saints running
game to.
With Reggie Bush, Drew Brees and Jeremy Shockey if he plays. Were also going to have to put up their defense.
But still Peyton Manning a 4 time M.V.P. will probably find a way to trick the Saints defense. But we had a great
record. But it only matters about the game.
                                                       By Gabe

Touch Down,
Do you think the Colts will win? I do! I know that the Colts will win. This is a reason they are the best,
best, best team in the world. Who do you think will win? The Colts! The Colts are the best.
Touch Down Dallas Clark!!

I think the Colts are going to win because they’re Coach Jim Coadwell makes very good plans. They
have very good players like Pierre Garcon #85, Austin Collie #17, Peyton Manning #18 and Joseph Addi #29.
They also have had a very good season because they have won almost every game. The Colts are going to win
because they have a great running back, wide receiver, tight end , tackle, guard, center, and quarter back. When the
Colts start to lose they step up to plan B, and make awesome passes. They’re also going to win because they al-
ways tackle down the quarter back or running back on the other team. That’s why I think the Colts are going to

We’re going to the Super Bowl!!
The Colts are the best team ever in football history! They are going to win because their players have the
passion and the skills for football. I think we have the best and ultimate team ever. I think Manning is the best
player ever! I mean look how far he can throw a ball. I know the Saints are going to but, think about how many
Super Bowls they have won. Not a lot! The Saints are going down! The Colts are going to win because our play-
ers have had a lot of experience and lots of practice. We are going to win because our players eat healthy and they
get lots of sleep. Last, we are going to win the Super Bowl because are players exercise. We have won many Super
Bowls and this is not going to be our last. GO COLTS!

Feel the Spirit!
I know your going to win! I think the Colts are the best players in the NFL! I don’t think the New
Orleans Saints are hard to play well their not! There is a 100,000 chance you are going to win! Remember touch
downs and more touch downs and work very hard. Don’t you feel the Colts spirit? Go Colts ! Go Colts!
You can do it!!! Go Colts!
                                                        By Olivia

Go Colts!
I think the Colts are going to win the Super Bowl. I do because the New Orleans, Saints are not a very
good team and they beat the Minnesota Vikings by pure luck. Also the Colts are a very good team. They have lots
of good players like Peyton Manning, Dwight Freeney, Pierre Garcon, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, Austin
Collie, Joseph Addai and Jeff Saturday. I also think the Colts are going to win the Super Bowl because they are
a team to a FANASTIC town……..Indianapolis, Indiana!!! We have confidence in our Colts and we know they
will win the Super Bowl!!! The New Orleans Saints are going to loose the Super Bowl!! The Colts are going to
win, and all the people in the United Sates of America will hear my mom screaming and jumping up and
                                              GO COLTS!!
