Comments: She was killed at 2:00 p.m. when a station wagon, that she
was driving, going east, collided head-on with a large truck going west
on M46, 5 miles east of Saginaw. Also killed was her passenger, Mrs.
Maxine K. Zak, 56, of Saginaw. The driver of truck, Darrel E. Marks,
40 years old, suffered cuts and bruises, and was taken to St. Mary’s
Hospital in Saginaw. It happened on a sweeping curve in heavy rain.
