Trade Criteria -Goats/Slush 2011 Trade
If both Petersen and Freeman are in-eligible or eligible for the Franchise tag, the the Slush
send the Goats their 4th round pick in 2012
If Petersen is eligible for Franchise designation but Freeman is not, then the Slush
send the Goats their 2nd round pick.
If Freeman is eligible for Franchise designation but Petersen is not then the Slush
send the Goats their 6th round pick
Eligibility will be defined based on the definition of a franchise player as it exists today i
in the rulebook. Any rule or criteria changes that may get proposed in 2012 will have
no impact on this trade
Considering the Slush's 2nd, 4th and 6th round picks are all in play here, none of these picks
can be traded by the Slush until the end of the 2011 season when the compensation is
finally defined
Due to the potential of the Slush's 2nd round pick in 2012 changing hands, the Slush
are precluded from claiming a Franchise player in 2011 due to lack of compensatory picks
