Relief Play Leaders
Monday to Friday
Morning &/or afternoon sessions
£5.93 per hour
We want to recruit highly motivated, enthusiastic and caring people
to form a bank of relief Play Leaders to work as part of our teams
supporting the provision of pre-school care and education to children
aged 2 - 5 years. Previous experience of working with young children
and families and/or a relevant qualification at SVQ level 3 or
equivalent (or a willingness to work towards an appropriate
qualification) are desirable. May suit staff already working in
playgroups who wish to extend their hours with a second job.
The successful applicants will be required to register with the Scottish
Social Services Council.
The posts are subject to checks by Disclosure Scotland and all
applicants will be asked to disclose information about any offences
committed and/or convictions held or other circumstances that could
prevent them from taking up a position in childcare.
The Playgroups are registered by the Care Commission, are
members of the Scottish Pre-school Play Association and operate in
partnership with Fife Education Service. They strive to be equal
