・Japan’s mobile phone market has continued to expand even as it showed signs of maturing. At the end of 2007,
total subscriptions surpassed 100 million and the penetration rate reached approx. 80%. Down through the years,
DOCOMO has consistently maintained a subscriber market share of approx. 50%.
