Expert Matching: Is a secondary
matching procedure that is needed
after minutiae matching is
complete. The top candidates from
minutiae matching are further
evaluated on a variety of other
non-minutiae factors, in the same
way that a fingerprint expert would
compare two prints.

The Omnitrak System will allow
SLED to store each card on file to
take advantage of better quality
cards which may come in.
Presently the SLED personnel
have to add and delete images
from the master card which is very
time consuming. This will result in a
more accurate search.
