Employment letters is an umbrella term that contains a variety of letters

used for communication in a working environment. The letters are

preferred over other forms of communication because they are considered

to be documented proof for any type of discussion between individuals.

Such letters are written in a predefined structure following a formal

style of writing. Normally, the letter content is brief and direct.

Special consideration is given to attention-to-detail issues like

spelling mistakes, grammar rules, and formatting styles. Simple and

active sentences are preferred to avoid ambiguity and lengthy text. For

defined below.Termination letter An organization’s representative drafts

the letter to inform an employee that his services are no longer required

due to poor performance or misconduct.Promotion letter As the name

an internal appraisal process, names for promotion, transfer, salary

write a letter recommending him to the new company.Warning letterIt is

written to forewarn an employee of dire consequences if he does take

prompt measures to improve his performance or conduct with other

employees.Appreciation letterAll praiseworthy efforts of an employee are

declared to others through an appreciation letter. It discusses the good

work, qualities, and the amount of hard work done to achieve commendable

results.Resignation letterAn employee writes a resignation letter to

inform the organization about his decision to discontinue with his tenure

of service. It mainly includes the date and reason for the

resignation.Announcement letterAll developments in an organization are

made known to everyone through this type of letter. For example, a

restructuring initiative will commence from the month of July is an

announcement that can be drafted in the form of a letter.Interview

letterIt is sent to a job applicant informing him about the date, time,

and venue of his interview for the applied job opening.Approval letterIf

a person wants to seek an approval to perform an action beyond his

rights, he needs to get a written approval for the same from the right
