Before I came to Grimes, I had a different phone with a different provider. We
6:30 pm lived in a dead zone where my cell phone usually did not work in my home or of-

Wednesday Night
Napier Field, we experienced some of the same lack of service and reception. I
Fellowship recall one time when we had no reception and the phone was reading “No Ser-
vice” in the window. After calling the phone company I discovered it wasn’t’ a
problem with my phone but with the cell towers in my area and how the weather
had affected their receptivity. Although we are required to purchase a phone and
pay monthly fees, our phone service provider has to keep those towers function-
ing for me to connect with the main source. What a funny coincidence that our
relationship with God has similar characteristics.
