Any stakeholder may submit alternate solutions to the identified needs in prior Local Transmission Plans to be
evaluated as part of the preparation of the draft Local Transmission Plan.
This workbook is set up for interested stakeholders to submit alternative solutions into the Local Area Planning
Process at NorthWestern Energy. Alternative Solutions will be accepted during Quarter 1 and Quarter 5 of
each 2-yr Local Area Planning Process, which equates to January, February and March of each calendar year.
Alternative solutions will be accepted from January 1 through 5:00pm March 31st.
Please provide sufficient data, details, and specifications in your request as possible so that NorthWestern
Energy can evaluate your proposal. Include contact information so we may reach you and submit your request
by postal service or electronically as outlined above.
NorthWestern Energy will contact you for clarification and additional data as needed.
