West Central Conference (Illinois)
North Division
South Division
For many athletics and activities the conference is split
into north and south divisions. For example, the 2010
basketball season’s north division consists of 6 teams:
Illini West, Macomb, Monmouth-Roseville, Orion, Rock-
ridge, and Sherrard. The south division consists of 9
teams: Central (Camp Point), Griggsville-Perry, Liberty,
Payson-Seymour, Pittsfield, Southeastern (Augusta), Uni-
ty (Mendon), West Hancock (co-op between Hamilton
and Warsaw), and Western (Barry).[8]

• Hamilton+Warsaw=West Hancock coop (enrollment
433) for all sports
• Central and Southeastern coop (enrollment 473) for

554) for cross country, football, track & field, and
wrestling
• Liberty and Payson-Seymour coop (enrollment 374)
for track and field and girls basketball
• Macomb and West Prairie (Lincoln Trail Conference)
coop (enrollment 826) for boys swimming and diving
• Orion and Sherrard coop (enrollment 841) for soccer
• Payson-Seymour and Unity coop (enrollment 366)

The West Central Conference is a high school conference coop (enrollment 274) only for football
in western central Illinois. The conference participates
in athletics and activities in the Illinois High School As- Specific Sport or Activity Members
