JOB DESCRIPTION
Department: THIRY AUDITORIUM
Job Title: Theater Technician
Hourly Pay Rate: $7.25
Job Description: Works as a light and/or soundboard operator, stage-hand, or house manager
for Thiry Auditorium events and other CAS programs on campus.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
Experience in technical theater
Willingness and ability to perform physical tasks such as working the counter-weight
system and moving speakers, monitors, etc.
Willingness and ability to work a changing schedule (i.e., nights and weekends as
needed)
Experience or willingness to learn how to communicate and serve OLLU and off-campus
clients during events
Self-directed, dependable, and punctual
Preferred Major: Drama, Communication Arts, Music, Art, English
