To obtain a public relations internship which demands organization, motivation and
flexibility combined with the application of public relations tactics and principles.
▪ Business-client relationship experience
▪ Press release writing skills
I’ve had productive relationships with numerous reps for major extreme sport labels. I have
made a communication plan and PowerPoint for projects as well as press releases for those
projects. I have used quark, word, and Photoshop to create an ad for an off-road company to
use in their promotions.

Monrovia Unified School District (2002-present)
I worked four years with the after school program effectively communicating with my
students, teachers, and administrators. I learned to manage time to accomplish all of the
daily goals that were given to elementary students ranging from first grade through fifth.
I then moved to the nutrition program within MUSD and became a nutrition education
assistant. I teach elementary students about nutrition through cooking, vitamin
consumption, and staying fit. I have also had experience in writing grants for our award
winning program. In 2006 our program received the California Golden Bell award as well
as the 2007 Champion for Children award for the best program in the state.
United Board Shop and Styx Ride Shop (2002-2008)
Over the past six years I have had the pleasure of working in two of southern
California’s best skate shops. It gave me the opportunity to become a buyer for the shops and
create business relationships with reps from many of the extreme sports venders. I have
gained knowledge about retail as well as the workings of running a small business.
I am a very active person who likes to workout and loves the outdoors. I also enjoy dirt bike
riding in my spare time.
