Out of State Contestants are eligible to compete if they have a PARENT or
GRANDPARENT living in the counties of: CLAY, PLATTE,
JACKSON,RAY,LAFAYETTE,JOHNSON,CASS,BUCHANAN,CLINTON
All Missouri resident contestants are eligible to compete in the Little Miss Program.
Phases of Competition:
Formalwear 40%
Onstage Question 10%
Personal Interview 50%
Optional Phase:
Talent (Winner of each Age Group will receive $50 Savings Bond)
The Pageant will be held in conjunction with the Miss Greater Kansas City and Miss
Kansas City Pageants.

Official Rules and Regulations
1. Contestants are eligible to compete if they reside in MISSOURI OR have a PARENT or
GRANDPARENT living in the counties of:
CLAY, PLATTE,JACKSON,RAY,LAFAYETTE,JOHNSON,CASS,BUCHANAN,CLINTON
2. Age divisions will be designated according numbers of contestants.
3. The winner (if a Missouri resident) will be eligible to compete at the Misses of Missouri
Pageant to be held in July, 2011.
4. The First Runner up (if a Missouri resident) will be eligible to compete at the Missouri
Sweethearts Pageant to be held in July, 2011.
5. Qualified winners and 1st runners-up must remain Missouri residents to be eligible to
compete in July. If winners and runners-up move out of state, they will not be eligible to
compete.
6. Remember that sportsmanship and fun are the primary goal of the competition.
Phases of Competition
1. Personal Interview- This phase will be completed early the morning of the pageant at a
separate location. Clothing for this phase will be informal clothing, something nice worn for
School, church or a meeting. This can something to show the contestant’s personality and
should be age appropriate and fun.
2. Formal wear - This should be something worn to a formal party, wedding or event. This will
be very subjective and both floor length and short dresses may be chosen. Age
appropriateness is the primary key. Keeping makeup and hair to an age appropriate selection
is advisable, as judges will look for naturalness and genuineness in a contestant.
3. Onstage Question-This phase will be conducted in Formalwear before leaving the stage.
4. Optional Talent Competition will be judged during on stage competition.
Possible Age Categories
1. Tiny Miss- Ages 4-6
2. Little Miss- Ages 7-9
3. Young Miss- Ages 10-12
