Getting To Know You Hannah Docx by stariya

									Getting To Know
We would like to introduce you to some of the
newer members of staff at St Teresas Catholic
Primary School;

   1) Who are you?
My name is Hannah Docx and I am a
classroom assistant. (oooh so that’s what
she is supposed to be doing!!)

   2) How long have you worked
      in our school?
Feels like forever (laughs)… about 4
months I think. I love it really.

   3) Where are you from?
Born and bred in Newcastle, I’ve lived here all my life. I have also spent three
years in Leeds at University and three months in West Africa, Ghana! (so
much for living in Newcastle for her WHOLE life).

   4) Do you drive? If so, what car do you drive?
I drive the awesome Ka car. I love it because it is very girly, cute and looks
like a bubble, however people have described it as a golf buggy but that is not
true at all! It also has pink furry dice. Guys don’t really drive them either (no
       surprise there!!)

   5) What is the worst job you have ever had?
When I was sixteen I worked in a sports shop. I had lots of work to do and I
got paid very little. (she was probably terrible so that’s what you have to

   6) Can you play a musical instrument?
I can play the violin + piano…well I could 5 years ago anyway but im hoping
its like riding a bike?? (not quite Hannah!!)
7) What is your star sign?
Ermm….Leo – the lion…its meant to be the sign of courage…which
obviously I am! (hint of sarcasm in voice)

8) What is your favourite book?
My favourite book is the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown because it held my
attention all the way through and I am also interested in religion and other
  peoples views.
9) Have you ever won any awards? If so, what for?
Ooh many years ago for badminton and different sports at school!

10) What is your favourite TV programme?
It has to be Friends – I’ve got the whole box set on DVD…is that sad?? (yes!!)

11)Have you got any pets?
No no no, unless my brother counts??

12)What is your favourite film?
I’ve got lots. But probably Oceans 11 because Brad Pitt is in it…oh and
because its got an awesome story line of course!

13)Do you or have you ever had a nickname?
When I was at school I was sometimes called Docxy but now I work here I
seem to have picked up the nickname Hannah Montanna! Apparently it’s a
kids TV programme (yes it is…keep up Hannah!)

14)Do you play any sport?
I still play Badminton when I can and I like to go to the gym but often find
excuses not to go some how…cant think why!!

15)What is your favourite type of music?
I have an eclectic taste in music, but I prefer to listen to R’n’B when I am out.

16)Where is your favourite place to visit?
It has to be Ghana because the people are so friendly and happy over there and
the children I taught really wanted to learn! Obviously that is very similar to
the children here!(laughs) Going to Ghana made me appreciate things a lot

17)If you won the lottery what would you do?
OOOH, I would buy a mansion in every major city in the world and just live
the dream! Obviously I would still work here though! (why don’t we believe
  her I wonder??)
18)If you were trapped on a desert island what three
      things would you take?
I would have to take my ipod with endless battery life, my little brother Jacob
to entertain me and then obviously a survival kit on how to survive being on a
       desert island.

   19) Can you speak any other languages? If so, what?
Errm not very well but I could attempt to speak a little bit of Spanish and
French. I could ask where the loo is which is always good to know!!

19)Do you have an addiction to anything?
(Laugh laugh) I have a big weakness for shoes and scarves. I possibly have a
pair of shoes for each day of the month! That could be classed as an addiction
I suppose….but if my mum asks its just a healthy and much needed hobby!!
       (typical girl response!!)

This questionnaire was created by some of our year 5 pupils:
