Position Title: Web Designer Dept Name: 790 Corporate Information Technology



Grade/Pay Range: Exempt Non-Exempt



Reports To: Director of eBusiness Supervises: none



Position Summary: Responsible for layout, design and quality control of LSI websites. This involves

developing a graphic design that effectively communicates the key concepts being promoted by LSI. The

web designer takes part in the initial planning of Web sites, new pages, images, portals, redesigns and

other web site related projects. The web designer is responsible for ensuring brand guidelines are adhered

to and proper functioning of web site (QC).



Responsibilities:



• Required - Responsibilities may be repetitive or routine in nature.



• Required - Decisions are guided by direct supervisor and department policies/norms.



• Required - May contribute to projects or lead portions of projects with direction and guidance.



• Web design



• Quality Control



Education:



Required: Bachelors degree or 4 yr. related exp. – (Computer or graphic art degree)



License/certification:



Required: NONE



Experience & Skills:



Required: 5 years experience as a web designer designing high quality business websites or

bachelors degree in a computer or graphics related field with 2 years experience as a web

designer



Preferred: Experience using Photoshop and flash, php experience a plus.
