The stable pure chemical composition and constant
uniform particle size distribution make our sands
exceptionally fit for the production of flat glass. The
production of 1 ton of glass requires approximately
700kg silica sand.
As a result of the extremely low levels of
contaminating metal oxides, our customers can
produce high-tech flat glass: glass for solar panels,
mirrors, furniture glass, decorative glass, coated
glass, ...
Crystal glass
MAM1S is made from carefully selected silica sand
after chemical purification, classification, spiralling
and flotation of the non-fusing minerals.
MAM1S complies with the highest requirements of
our crystal glass customers and consequently is the
reference for this entire sector. Fusion is made
easier by using MAM1S T300 that is produced by
sieving the dried MAM1S at 300 micron.
