From time to time people contact us seeking help or because they are concerned about the

well-being of a loved one. We are not clinical psychologists, and cannot provide counseling

or treatment. However, we have compiled a list of local, national, and international health

and social service organizations that some people have found helpful. You'll find that many

of these organizations have links to other information and resources on their websites.

If you or someone you know is at risk for suicide or violence, call 911 or go to an emergency

room. Do not leave a suicidal person alone.

Disclaimer: Please note that this list is not exhaustive, and is provided for general

information purposes only; it is not intended to take the place of specific medical advice.

Reference in this website to any specific organization or product does not constitute

endorsement by the Psychology Department or Harvard University. Once you follow a link

to another website, you are subject to the privacy policy of the new site.
