Learning Targets







The purpose of learning targets and their quarterly assessment is to provide tangible data benchmarks to stakeholders

facilitating communication leading to student mastery. This process will align curriculum, learning, and assessment

improving the academic success of students.





BHS Learning Targets for Health Occupations 1-2 CNA 2nd Quarter









1. I can explain positioning, range of motion, and how to safely transfer and ambulate

residents.

2. I can identify basic human needs.

3. I can list and explain interventions for common difficult behaviors related to Alzheimer’s

disease, confusion, and dementia.

4. I can demonstrate how to care for a resident's unit and perform proper bedmaking.

5. I can demonstrate how to assist in personal care of residents (including bathing,

grooming, oral care, and dressing).

6. I can describe the importance of good nutrition & hydration and explain special diets.

7. I can demonstrate how to serve meal trays and assist with eating.

8. I can demonstrate how to measure vital signs.
