Rico Rex ner Eva-Maria Fitze, he was the 2003 German national
champion.
Biography
Rico Rex started figure skating when he was 4 years old
in the result of the talent screening in East-Germany.
Rex was first a single skater and participated until
1993 in championships in the men’s events. He continued
with pair skating. His first partner was Silvia Dimitrov
until 1997. Their best international result was an 8th
place at the Europeans 1996. Silvia Dimitrov retired in
1997 due to an injury.
Rex then teamed up with Katharina Rybkowski with
whom he skated until 2000. Their coach in Chemnitz was
Rex and Eva-Maria Fitze at the 2006 German Monika Scheibe. The pair never participated at Euro-
