Advanced skills in using office technology.
Experience using Pearson PowerSchool or
equivalent Student Information System.
Experience or knowledge in extracting data
from multiple sources.
Strong analytical and problem solving
skills.
Proficiency in various report writing
applications.
Able to tackle problems, identify solutions
and follow through to completion.

Manage multiple project responsibilities
simultaneously and prioritize work.

REPORTS TO: Coordinator for School Data
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve months (261 days) with benefits
provided according to Classified
Agreement.
OVERVIEW: The Data Analyst & Report Designer ensures
implementation of data quality tools, methods,
standards, procedures, policies, designing meta data
content and reports, and evaluating meta data
usability.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. PowerSchool Support. Provide excellent customer service and
ongoing technical support to various district PowerSchool users,
including administrative staff and teachers. Interact with
companies providing technical services in a collaborative and
proactive manner. Explain and train end users on technical
procedures in a clear and understandable manner.
2. Data Integration. Work with all district departments and schools to
provide new application ideas to gain better efficiency and improve
district productivity.
3. Data Analysis. Review/analyze/reconcile data in as-is vs. to-be
systems to ensure consistency and data integrity per district
requirements.
4. Data Security. Develop and manage procedures for maintaining
security of all databases. Work collaboratively with technology
operations to develop, implement and test backup and recovery
plans.
5. Report Writing. Produce reports from district information systems
as needed to complete local and state reporting requirements.
Utilize alio Intelligence and/or other report writers for district
standardization and upgrade of existing and future database
reports.
6. Reporting Portal & Automated Performance Monitoring. Work
collaboratively with technology operations to create, upkeep
(including security) and provide training for end-users on
standardized reporting portal (alio Intelligence) and performance
monitors.
