Hyde Park
We arrived Hyde Park in the early morning; the weather was very nice that suitable
for a leisure walk. Over 140 hectares green space may be the one of the most
attractive points for us. As we live in Hong Kong, we selfdom have change to visit a
park as large as Hyde Park. All park users are allowed to walk on the grassland, what
a luxurious experience.
After stepping on the health and fresh grassland, we walked to the other side of the Park.
There was a large and long lake in the Park called Serpentine Lake. This was the first
Park that has a lake inside I visited which gave me another experience. We took pleasure
in walking along the northern lakeside, watching how a duck leading its' kids to swim on
the Lake. They were so cute. When I thought I were in a natural environment, I found a
tall building outside the western side of the Lake which let me know I was actually in
London city center. That was so wonder for me that Hyde Park was in city center. Even
operating such large park in city center cost a lot, but I believe it is valuable to provide
such a nice place for the citizen.

St. James's Park
After the good experience in Hyde Park, we decided to go to St. James’s Park too. We
visit St. James’s Park in afternoon. That day is Saturday; there were lots of people in
St. James’s Park. There was a brass performance in the largest grassland of the Park.
Family, tourists with the citizens were all sitting around the bandstand and enjoying
the performance. We also have a sit there for twenty minutes. With the large grassland
and the nice performance, that is really a relaxing program.
