GMAC Insurance is seeking Sales Agents, who are responsible for handling inbound and outbound Sales
calls regarding insurance rates and policies; Providing and selling rate quotes to insured’s. The Sales Agent
is responsible for using the systems to track, gather information and answer customer inquiries. Identifies
customer needs and works to meet those needs using sales tools and appropriate educational materials.
Strives to sell the product that meets the customer’s need . Will work with various departments to correct
or adjust records and document policy changes. This position will require working in a team oriented
environment and meeting key performance metrics such as sales, productivity and quality requirements.
Performs other duties as requested, as well as attends required meetings.

Our extensive paid training program will provide you with the tools needed to succeed. During the eight to
ten week training period, you must be available to work 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Following training you will
be assigned to a schedule and candidates must be able to work any schedule assigned. Currently we
operate between the hous of 6:30 am to 10:30 pm Monday through Friday and 8:00 am to 9:30 pm Saturday
and Sunday. New employees coming out of training will most likely receive a 2 nd shift schedule which is
eligible for a 10% shift differential.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
*High School Diploma or equivalent
*Strong sales experience
*Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
*Proficient key-boarding skills
*Strong organizational and time management skills
*Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
*Ability to pass P&C test and obtain P&C license
Preferred qualifications
*Previous experience in a customer service/sales contact center, processing center or retail environment
*Agents license or insurance background
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office desired
