					How to
We will be using Twitter, a social network, to update the redeployment ceremonies. The advantage to Twitter is that you can be updated through a text message to your cell phone. You will get immediate updates on your Soldier’s redeployment ceremony. We will maintain the website (http://www.hood.army.mil/1stcavdiv/redeployment) with current information Monday through Friday 0800-1700. It is recommended that you sign up with your battalion to receive updates to your cell phone to minimize the amount of messages you receive.

NOTE: YOU CANNOT ACCESS TWITTER ON THE DOIM/FT HOOD NETWORK.
The only information that is released on Twitter is the same of that which is on the Redeployment Ceremony page. An example of a Tweet (message to your phone) would be: “Trigger 25 ceremony time has changed to March 9th at 1330. For more information please call 254-xxx-xxx ” Here is the Twitter Homepage http://www.twitter.com
