Over View
The goal of this project is simple:


Create 250 “real looking” twitter accounts
    

Using “real” sounding names or nicknames Using “real” pictures, appropriate text

Link the twitter accounts to email accounts matching twitter names
Set twitter email notifications to off Deliver twitter and email login/password details

Deliverables


The final deliverable is an excel, ODA, or CSV file containing the following columns:
 

Count (1-250) Twitter Account Login


 

Twitter Account Password
email Account Login email Account Password




email Secret Question
email Secret Answer

Note: A sample spreadsheet is provided. You MUST use this format for your response in order to get paid.

Twitter Account Setup Detail


When creating the twitter account:


Add a 'real' or 'humorous” picture


Picture MUST be in the public domain Use American spellings - “Color” not “Colour” http://twitter.com/account/notifications ALL set to UNCHECKED




Create realistic text description


Turn email notifications off
 



Use matching email account



Use “real” looking password

Note: examples of good and bad account names, passwords, and pictures are given in a later slide

Twitter Picture Detail


Twitter pictures need to be “real”

 

A picture of Jessica Alba is not real
A picture of George Clooney is not real A picture of a tattoo on a perfect muscle is not real Pick a picture with the right to use it




A real picture is of a regular looking American


Ex: Flickr has an advanced search for “creative commons”

email Account Setup Detail


When creating the email account:
 

Choose First/Last/LoginName that matches the twitter account You may choose any secret question/answer please just record the answer



Set the country to United States or Canada



You may use any email providers that are "free" and "stable." For example, Yahoo, Gmail. MSN, etc. If you have any questions about an email provider please ask before using them. Please do not use one email provider for all twitter accounts.

Success Examples


A successful twitter account looks REAL because it has a real looking picture and appropriate text.


For our purposes an obviously generated username or password is unacceptable



You don't need to use all the possible room for description, but keep them generic and “American” as possible:



Ex good: Mom at work
Ex bad: Just a Mum (non US spelling)

Success Examples – Real Names


These are good “real” names:

Use real American names and NOT nick names


We will use the following method to evaluate the success of the project:


Test each twitter login/password


 

Test each email login/password
Ensure the twitter account points to the email account Review each twitter account for:
    

Good picture
Good text description Good name Match of twitter name/nickname to email name

Proper twitter account options are set



We will complete the evaluation within one business week or receipt.
